It is the year 1978, and the students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry step out into a world darkened by the war. The lines that once formed the barriers between the houses are falling, to be replaced with ones of their own creation; Death Eaters, the loyal servant of the Dark Lord Voldemort; the Order of the Phoenix, dedicated to bringing down the evil by any means possible; and those who struggle to remain Neutral, forever caught between the two extremes. Trust is an illusion, when you can never truly know who is your ally, and who is only waiting for the perfect moment to stab you in the back.
With every new edition of the Daily Prophet, the list of citizens that have mysteriously vanished grows. Whole families have been found slaughtered in their own homes, under the glowing and macabre sign of the Morsmordre. Curse ravaged bodies found in shallow, unmarked graves- and sometimes not buried at all, but left to the elements to destroy the remains of ‘questioning’. By day, people do their best to hold onto the thin strands of hope, while by night, it’s unwise to leave the safety of your home.
With a little more then a year until the Last Night, which side will you choose?
Talking About a Revolution is an Intermediate|Advanced Harry Potter RPG, set in the time of the Marauders, during the first war. Both Canon and Original characters are welcomed, as well as Order, Death Eater, and Neutral characters. If there is enough request for it, we will also reopen Hogwarts to any student characters once the school year begins again in September.
