Rowan's Father

Hunter Amber is a widower and the father of Rowan Amber, the half vampire. His true age is roughly unknown, but Rowan has stated that he's somewhere in his 50's, which could even be wrong. The man is very secretive of his works and what he does with his free time. He's been known to lie to Rowan to protect her or to keep her in the dark for the better. He has puzzled thoughts of helping out the Death Eaters and often takes his anger out on other people. He's very much known to go to small villages and kill most of the population because of the fear of being hunted down and killed. He dislikes vampire hunters, wizards/witches and muggles alike, for the fact that they killed his wife when Rowan was five. He regrets not stopping them sooner, but killed them after he lost her.

The man goes his own way, he's not in any way like Rowan always that cheerful girl who resorts to drawing to take her feelings out, though he does see himself in her. She has his anger, so the two are very much alike more than the two see eye to eye with. He will spend hours just staring at Rowan for she's almost a spitting image of her mother and their courtship seemed impossible to happen with him being a vampire and her a witch. Hunter is very much a grouch and is never in a good mood when he is out and about. His thoughts on muggles doesn't change him for the fact that he was one at point in his life, even though he now knows of the wizarding world and is very interested in it. Get on his bad side and you'll most likely meet his wrath with no chance of surviving unless you can talk your way out of it.

(So I figured I would put him up since it seems rather silly to just have him be an NPC with me interacting with him. He seems important enough to Rowan that it could best with someone else's view and control on him. And have some interaction with the other characters by himself without Rowan's present.)
