* all the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Thin fingers attempted to run through the mess of curls that were pilled around her head. This was utterly pointless. She was supposed to be at home by now and not sitting behind a desk and working on something that was supposed to be done by another person. How the bloody hell was she supposed to look after her family when people were being stupid like this. She didn't need this kind of problem at the moment and just wanted to get home. Groaning, Hermione Jean Weasley tapped her wand against her desk, knowing that her children were gonig to be worried. They expected her hours ago and she was sure that Ron was going to be worried as well. At least, she expected so.
With a deep sigh, she took out her quill and began to write on the parchment once again. This was utterly tiresome. She was getting stuck with the work of slackers! At school, she had never stood for this. Hermione prided herself on keeping Ron and HArry ontop of their studies, even if it meant correcting and nagging them constantly. Letting out a deep sigh, she sat back and rubbed her temples slowly. What the bloody hell was she going to do with this mess? Apparently, someone hadn't been too keen with her offer of lessen the purebloods hold over the Minsitry and over most of the wizarding world. People were still prejudice it seemed and she was thrown the mess that she had created. With a frown, she bit down on her lip and threw her will down onto the table. This was pointless. She couldn't even think straight anymore.
Hermione stood up and grabbed her jacket from the chair that she had thrown it into. Running a hand through her dark curls, she walked to stand before the window, watching the moon in the sky. Blinking a few times, she was brought back to the long nights that she spent in school, prefecting homework or spells, wanting to be ontop of everything. Always having to prove herself to people that were around her without an reason to. Maybe she just felt the need, or maybe she was trying to impress her would-be husband. Licking her lips, Hermione closed the curtins to the room and turned to turn out the lights, waving her wand as she moved to the door.
"Good night Anne." she said to the woman that worked in the adjoining office as she walked through the room. Walking out, she locked the main door and went down the stairs and to the fireplaces. Flooing was not her favourite form of transportation but it was probably the fastest way to get back home. With a yawn, she grabbed a bit of the powder and walked to the fireplaces, throwing it into the flames and speaking the address clearly.
Eyes closed tightly as she went through the familiar feeling of being pushed and pulled along an invisible rail, not stopping until she could open her eyes and see the inside of her tidy home. Stepping out, she took off her jacket and waved her wand, watching as it flew towards the coat rack at the front of the hallway. Picking up Crookshanks as he moved towards her, wrapping himself around her legs, she scratched behind his head slowly. "Hello is anyone still up? I'm home." Hermione said, walking around the living room as she slipped her shoes from her tired feet. Maybe they had guests over or some of the family. It was always hard to tell. Honestly sometimes it was difficult for her in such a free household, she actually slid into her slippers and was able to walk quietly out the room with no interruptions. Considering where she was living, no house elves were there to interrogate her whatsoever, or just do her work for her. She instead could freely roam down the stairs whenever she wished to get something as simple as a midnight snack. It was so strange in some ways coming from a family that could buy her a stable and twenty horses in the snap of their fingers, she would never have expected to find any pleasure in a midnight snack. Yet again, the material items were all just a cheap ruse by her parents anyway.
There was nothing of great material wealth in all honesty where she was staying, at least compared to the last place she had ran from. Honestly if her brother hadn't announced he was leaving, she would have just went of in the dark night. Only thankfully he thought of a good option actually going to live in a warm household. Rose even had a little extra area of a room set up to practice ballet steps which honestly just gave Alectrona more than enough to occupy herself with at her new home. No longer did she need to play games though to get a service, she didn’t need to bargain or beg or play guess which elf would help her get away with something. Instead she could simply walk in and out of a room without even a word of protest.
That sort of freedom wasn’t something she would easily come across or think all that much about. Either way it was simple, these were all the sort of simple things that were how she was kept here. She enjoyed the kindness they showed but if she was regimented she probably would have left elsewhere, not to America but to Australia. The name sounded much more laid back and relaxed, although she was getting quite enough of it right here. She was able to get up when she wanted to and wander around the house, which happened quite a lot recently. Her brother was swamped with well something totally boyish on his mind because she found him hardly someone work pressing conversation out of, so it left her mostly to ponder the hypocrisies of society, and other dreary things. Thankful for her good metabolism in the meantime because it also lead her to have the appetite of a quidditch player.
Tonight was one of those nights were she got dressed in her more conservative set of pajamas and headed downstairs. Sometimes in the Malfoy Mansions some of her brothers friends would come far to early in the morning, and for some reason she loved embarrassing him. Perhaps it was just a sister thing, but either way in a household with Hermione in charge, she wasn’t about to ruffle anyone’s feathers. Sneaking downstairs to grab a snack she merely sat with a most simple but delicious peanut butter and jelly sandwhich. She was about ready to bit into it when she heard Hermione coming back home, “Hello Miss. Weas- I mean Hermione.” She was told to call her Hermione just to make her feel more comfortable, it was hard for her to get used to it though. Alectrona was raised by a rather proper family after all.
OOC: outfit and I hope you don't mind I added that last part in but since molly is still around and all perhaps Hermione wanted to just give Alectrona a chance to feel more comfortable. idk

Sometimes, she found that it was difficult to get used to having another teenage girl in the house. She had raised Rose and knew the way that she acted, but having this other girl--a Malfoy no less--was something of a surprise all the time. Thankfully, she was a good girl and Hermione found it a good thing. Otherwise, it would be her head on the block with her husband about all of this. She had vouched for the girl and had wanted to keep Rose happy as well. Thankfully, she had managed to fit into the house well enough and Hermione thought that was a good thing. As long as the young Malfoy could be happy, then she was welcome to stay at her home for as long as possible.
Hermione wouldn't say that they were poor, but compared to the fortune that Malfoy had--hell even the fortune that Harry had--they had very little. But they were also not as poor as Ron had been growing up and that was good for her children. They weren't subjected to the same kind of jokes that most of the Weasley's were and they were able to get the things that they wanted once in a while. Hermione spoiled those children, but she wouldn't admit it to anyone. She kept up her looks of being a firm parent that would not give into whining as easily as she did--especially with her baby boy. However, they were never in their lives going to get a house elf. She hadn't faught for their rights and unions for this long only to have one herself. No. Everything was done the muggle way or with the help of small magic, for those in the house over seventeen of course. Other then that, she had very little rules for their newest guest and her own children.
With a small sigh, Hermione walked through the empty halls of the office and felt her stomach rumbled. She hadn't eaten since lunch and that was house and house ago. She just needed to get something small when she got back to the house and hopefully, Ron left something on the stove for her to eat. Otherwise, she would have to just get something like crisps or salad. Nothing too difficult to make since she was dog tired. As she walked through the flames her stomach let out a praticularly large rumble. What on earth was this all about? She couldn't possibly be that hungry right? With a small sigh, she walked out of the fire and saw the young woman curled up in a chair with her sandwitch once her eyes became to the light of the room once more. A sweet girl and she seemed to be happy to be here and everything else. HAppy to not have rules. Then again, that might just be Hermione's positive way of thinking. What if the girl hated it here? Would she be able to handle that? No, if she hated it then she could have left by now right?
With a smile, she put Crookshanks down on the couch and sat down in a chair next to Alectrona, "Hello dear, can't sleep?" Hermione asked with a smile, watching her face carefully. The slip up wasn't something uncommon. She had to remind people that were meeting her to use her first name. It was much less confusing when you had 6 Mrs. Weasley's around the wizarding world. So it was just a better idea to keep thigns as simple as possible. With a smile, she waved her wand and a sandwhich similar to Alectrona's appeared on her lap. Holding onto the plate, she slipped off the blazer that she was wearing and curled up in the chair, much like she did as a teenager. With a smile, she watched the girl next to her and took a bite out of her food. "Are you okay darling? You are getting enough to eat right? I don't want to make it seem like we're straving you or anything." Hermione said with a smile and ran a hand through her dark hair slowly. Honestly, she had never had a full conversation with this girl. Maybe this midnight snack and talk would work out well.
