Ever since Ronald Weasley had been able to aquire a job that paid well, he had made a vow to always be able to wear whatever clothes he wanted, and to make sure that his kids never had to suffer with secondhand garments and hand-me-down clothes. While Harry might prefer a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt, Ron might go all out with nice pants, dress shoes, and a clean, crisp shirt. However hectic things had been recently, Ron couldn't help but to show off a bit on his day off--which was exactly what he was doing as, suddenly, he appeared out of the thin air in Hogsmeade village. Looking down at himself, Ron dusted off his white shirt, shook out his black pants, fixed his cloak, and set off towards Hogwarts.
As he neared the gates that led into the school, he immediately saw a few people standing guard, wands out at the ready, pointed right at him. Without a small smile towards them, he answered their security questions calmly, and within minutes he was climbing up the stone steps and opening the oak fronts doors. As he entered the Entrance Hall, Ron paused and took a look around, before moving over to glance into the Great Hall. Everything seemed to be fine and fixed, and completely empty, which clued him in that he was a tad early--he had meant to get here after classes had let out, but it didn't make too much of a difference. With a sigh, Ron turned his back on the dinning area and quickly made his way up the main staircase, and continued his way through the castle.
Finally, after what seemed like forever (but was relatively no time at all, he was just impatient), Ron came to a halt in front of a closed door, and a large grin spread his face, blue eyes twinkling. Ever since the dance, many changes had been made on Hogwarts School of Witchcraf and Wizardry. The one that concerned him most, though, was the fact that his beautiful wife was now a teacher, and was now gone from him far more than he would have liked. It was why he had decided to make this surprise visit. Taking a deep breath, and running his hands over his clothes so as to make sure there weren't any creases, Ron raised his hand to knock on the classroom door. Before he could get the chance, though, it suddenly opened, a bell rang through the castle, and he was plowed over by a group of midgets.
"Oi!" he shouted desperately, as they swarmed around him into the hallways. He was so much taller than them, they could practically walk between his legs (well, perhaps he was exaggerating a tad). After they had all cleared the doorway, Ron forced his way into the classroom, muttering under his breath. He ran his hand over his bright red hair, and took another deep breath, before glancing around the room. As his eyes landed on a bushy-haired brunnette standing at the teacher's desk, he smiled again. Pulling his wand from his pocket, Ron unfastened his cloak and casted it aside, before waving about his wand and conjuring a single rose. Sure, he was being cheesy, but he missed his wife. So sue him.
Striding towards Hermione, his shoes making little clicking noises on the stone floor, Ron placed the rose gently on teh desk, before he swept up his wife into a hug. Pulling back, he kissed her lightly on the lips, lifting her off of her feet for a moment before setting her back down and grinning at her.
"Surprise," he said. "I'm sorry to just drop in like this, Mrs. Weasley, but I needed some help with my arithmancy."
