Trademark scents.... umm,, sort of a game?

Thought it might be fun, I had fun with it anyway and it can be useful info for posting.. simple, answer these two questions for each of you currently RPed characters. You can edit and/or add to the info if it changes over time.

1. Some ones got a crush on/is in love with your character,
what scents would remind them of said character that others
may or may not notice? Explain why if you feel like it.

2. Your character just caught a whiff of the love potion Amortentia being
brewed.. which of course causes the person being affected to
smell things they have a love for. What would your character
smell and why?

Here's mine to start things off...

1. Some ones got a crush on/is in love with your character,
what scents would remind them of said character that others
may or may not notice? Explain why if you feel like it.

Rory _ Daisys ( a perfume her dad gave her for the time warp dance, she's taken to wearing it most of the time), sweets (particularly licorice, she almost always has licorice wands on her), apples(her shampoo)

Seb_ sage, mallowsweet (has a warm, sweet and spicy scent)

Austin_ Freshly cut grass, a hint of wood smoke, Juniper berries (an ingredient in his aftershave..yes, with a razor and everything :0P)

Cody_ clean leather, and a unique musky/spicy scent (cologne from the states)

Harry_ the woodsy, spicy smell of the burrow mixed with the crisp clean scent of the Potters own home.. and just a dash of the smokey smell of ash ( half the time he's just stepped out of a fireplace having traveled the floo network, busy man)


2. Your character just caught a whiff of the love potion Amortentia being
brewed.. which of course causes the person being affected to
smell things they have a love for. What would your character
smell and why?


Rory_ (Spices and a woodsy smell...)it reminds her both of the burrow which is like her second home, and Al..her best friend..also the guy who leaves her unable to think straight and makes her blush like a total sappy git.(broomstick polish and fresh, crisp air) best smells of the Quidditch pitch and flying.. need I say more?, (Sugar..)because its sugar, and shes Rory *nods matter of factually*

Seb_(the fresh & citrus-y smell of Ada's shampoo' ) he fancy's her, even if hes to stubborn to admit it to himself yet (books and parchment) no..don't check to see if you read his house wrong in his app..he 'is' a Gryffindor, not a Ravenclaw... the library smells of books and parchment, and 'where he met Ada, the first person hes ever been able to trust and confide in. (honey suckle) for a very un-romantic reason but still one dealing with love.. his little sister loves the sent, keeps the flowers in the room and wears a perfume of it.. so it reminds him of her during the long months at school. (cat nip) shut it -.- ... side effect of his Animagus form.

Cody_ (fresh cut grass) because its the closest thing hes aware of at Hogwarts to the ranch back in Texas, (peaches) Calie always smelled of peaches..,(clean, well oiled, leather) reminds him of his boots and hat..aka his second skin, (fresh baked bread with warm butter) who wouldn't fall in love with the smell of biscuits?

Austin_ (Jasmine) his wife Lara's preferred scent, (freshly cut grass and wood) the scents remind him of honest physical labor, which oddly enough, considering hes a wizard, he enjoys. (Cinnamon) spends a good bit of time cooking (his wife's never around lately and Rory sucks at it) and likes useing cinnamon in recipes

Harry_ (treacle tart) His absolute favorite in the way of food, (Ginny's current favorite perfume and or shampoo) shes the love of his life, does he need another reason?, (the smell of a well cared for broom stick) he pampers his Phoenix.. as far as material possessions its second in his affections only to his wand.

Al: A woodsy, spicey sort of scent - the smell of the burrow; apples - on his breath, since he likes apples. :3; Freshly laundered clothing - his clothes are usually pretty clean; Old spice - his shampoo.

Damien: Books/parchment - he is a Ravenclaw. He likes the library; Cold winter air - somehow his body retains this crisp, clean smell; Vanilla - goes well with the crisp air smell, it's from his shampoo, however it is not the sweet girly vanilla, but a more subtle scent.

Chris: Guitar wood - he plays it constantly, after all; Lavender - just a subtle hint of it from his shampoo, which also has a slight spice to it to make it more 'manly' (or so he says); freshly laundered robes.

Ron: Subtle leather - a certain cologne he wears; Cinammon - his hair has always smelled like that; Wood and parchment mixed together - ah, the smells of paperwork and a desk.


2.Your character just caught a whiff of the love potion Amortentia being
brewed.. which of course causes the person being affected to
smell things they have a love for. What would your character
smell and why?

Al: Apples - his absolute favorite food, and one smell of Rory; Daisies - a secret love of his, which is also a smell of Rory; Ash wood - a broomstick and his own wand.

Damien: Perfume - specifically the kind Vivi is wearing ;D; Parchment - he loves books and writing, what more reason does he need?; Apple pie - yum. just yum.

Chris: Any shampoo or clean scent - something about being clean is just...nice to him; Vegetable soup - warm and inviting, like home; the wood of any instrument - he's a sucker for music.

Ron: A burning fire - food or family fun; Crisp new books - the smell of his beautiful wife, Hermione; Broomsticks - A good Cannon match with the kids, or a family match in the Orchard back at the Burrow.
