Jennifer’s eye opened to stare at the bedroom ceiling of her apartment in Diagon Alley and although she couldn’t feel them she knew her puppy and cat were somewhere on the bed with her. She lay staring at the ceiling she had painted with leaves and grass, so it always gave the impression to anyone who came in her room they were walking upside down, since the floor was tiled to mirror the sky, for over five minutes before she pushed back the covers and sat up with her back against the head board. Looking on the bed she noticed that Maximillion, her puppy, had made himself comfortable on the pillows next to her; with Pax, her Himalayan Persian, purring at the bottom of the bed. She smiled at the thought of them the night before, when she had come home and found Maxi sleeping curled up next to Pax. Then her eyes made there way over to the two bird cages rested atop a desk of drawers and smirked ash she blew a kiss two her two sleeping owls, Daphne and Blacksmith before she swung her legs over the bed and slipped her feet into the slippers that took her a few seconds to find, before carefully getting out of the bed ensuring she didn’t wake her sleeping animals up.
Making her way to the bathroom first was her usual routine and she didn’t stray from it. She ran her bath water while she decided what she would wear for the day. She had decided on a jean and a long sleeve knitted top. Once her clothes were collected she placed them on the edge of her bed, where her cat wasn’t sleeping and made her way back into the bathroom to shut the faucets off. She then stripped and climbed into the bath were she leaned back so that she was able to dip her long hair into the water and place her face under the water for a moment or two as well. When she emerged she made herself comfortable and pulled her face cloth from the rail next to the bath and began her cleaning ritual. An hour later she walked out of her room and into the open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen, her attire completed with a pair of sneakers and a black jacket with a hoodie and her wand in hand.
After opening both cage doors and ensuring that all her pets had food until she came home, she patted Maxi who had been trailing her since she came out of the bathroom and apparrated from her position in her lounge to the main street in Hogsmeade. Automatically her head swung to look in the direction of the Hogwarts Castle and the left corner of her mouth turned upward at the thought of her two younger sisters sitting in class at this very moment improving upon their magical abilities at one of the many classes the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry offered. Then she placed her wand in her jean pocket and pulled her hoodie over her head, even though it wasn’t needed and made her way down the street toward The Three Broomsticks. On her way she was mindful to wave at the regulars she served at The Three Broomsticks as they greeted her along the way. When she finally reached the bar she pushed open the door with her tight hand, as the doorbell rang over head acknowledging her entrance, and pulled down the hoodie with her other hand as the door closed behind her she looked up and gave a big smile to her boss and owner of the bar behind the counter and greeted her, “Morning.” Once they had their morning chat Jenni began her duties before the officially opened the bar.
