When Bellatrix Lestrange, long time leader of the reminding escapees from Azkaban was announced dead, the Wizarding World was finally able to breath again. The attacks on Hogwarts during the past September affected many parents and family members, just knowing the Bellatrix was gone allowed a breath of relief into their worries. Many people still believed that the Death Eaters were a major danger and the Ministry’s Aurors continued to work hard on rounding up the reminding members of what once was the most dangerous group of Dark Wizards, formed by the now deceased Lord Voldemort. After two months of tranquility, it would seem that peoples worries about those reminding Death Eaters were in vein. The wizard community was free from any strange events during the reminder of September, October and November.

But like the eye of the storm, this tranquility did not last long. To our horror, Diagon Alley suffered of an attack in the late hours of November 30. Witnesses of the event still cannot gasp what went in the small Alley, were many wizards make their daily shopping and routine. A few of them, say that they may have seen a few Death Eater dressed people in the crowd, but if this statement is true, we here in the Daily Prophet cannot be fully sure. If you are still wondering what went in Diagon Alley, the wizard community was attacked by werewolves and other dark creatures.

In the past years, the Ministry has made a few treaties with this creatures. Yet we can now see that they will never be happy with what we are so openly giving them, instead joining once more with dark forces and attacking us without remorse. The attack, like mentioned before occurred during the late hours of the night, with a full moon shining brightly in the sky. Fortunately there were not that many people outside by that hour, or we fear the numbers of victims would have been higher. There are a counted number of seven deaths, plus five more injuries. As you may know, the bite of a werewolf is a curse that many people are unable to live with. Many would think that death would have come better for this survivors.

Until now the Ministry has not made any full statements about the events during this monstrous night, but we here in the Daily Prophet promise you we will continue to ask question. To continue that statement, no valuable clues have been given to use that confirm that Death Eaters were behind this attack. But if they were, it is not late to say that we may be in big trouble. We need to know, who is now leading them and how willing they are to try things to get what they want.
