[/i]. Lily's not just a happy person, though she does have a certain pleasant aura about her. She tries to see the good side of every situation, to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Just because a person's parents are bad, or their family, doesn't mean that person is. Lily believes that, as individuals, anyone has the right to make up their own mind and to not be swayed b the influences of their houses. So she's willing to overlook some character flaws and give everyone a chance.

Lily also tries to focus on what good can come from the bad, the mundane and the spectacular, reasoning that there's bound to be a happy ending to every story. Though lately that's been tough... everyone is starting to act so funny lately... Secretive almost, and Lily hates secrets.

Imaginative. Lily's a bit spacey sometimes, off dreaming up things she finds clever or exciting or daringly romantic. She finds serious, academic people to be boring, and thinks imagination adds so much more spice to life. She's a curious girl... both inquisitive and a bit odd.

Courageous. Lily doesn't truly believe in the competition the "sorting" forces upon students, but the she's definitely a Gryffindor. Lily's either brave or just stupid, but she likes to think the fire in her heart that makes her eager to help and protect is courage. Sometimes she gets so riled up in her own justice that she just has to do something, and she can only hope her heart will lead her down the right road because her mind is too far gone.

Determined. Not one to let adversity get the better of her, Lily tries to keep at whatever is troubling her until she's satisfied. For example, she's not a terrific flyer, but that doesn't stop her from participating in family Quidditch games or bugging her brothers or parents for lessons. This can make her decidedly stubborn yet, which can be irritating as she tends to lose reason when she's narrowed her focus. Both a good and bad trait.

Naive. Lily's biggest obstacle is her naïveté. Victim of the biggest Peter Pan complex you've ever seen, Lily has that starry-eyed sense of dewy youth about her, a sense of wonder and ignorance that she's obviously not aware of. This trait doesn't work in her favor, as her family tends to keep things from her to "protect" her, coupled with her stupid courage and tenacity - it's a lethal combination. Lily also doesn't really understand that concept of flirting, and often wonders why her guy friends keep trying to kiss her. She's a pretty little thing, and maybe they think her innocence is just a cute ploy, but Lily honestly just does not understand. It could make her very easily duped, and if she were aware enough of it, she would hope that no one (or no boy) would take advantage of that.[/ul]
