Penny still has a scar from where the mountain lion had bitten her on her shoulder.
OVERALL PERSONALITY;;
She's your typical Gryffindor and a girl who can't get enough of life. She lives each day to it's fullest extent and tries her best to make her days she's living to count. She lives more so in the now then she does in the past and looks towards the future. Full of boundless energy, neverending curiosity and outstanding courage, introducing Penelope Alice Longbottom.
your typical gryffindor;; Penny posesses your average gryffindor characteristics, the bravery, the loyalty, the chivalry and whatnot. She's quite the loyal person, staying true to her beliefs as well as standing by her friends and family. It's not unusual to see Penny snapping at someone in the hallway if they dared to insult someone important to her. If she believes something is right, she won't hesitate to act upon her belief if neccassary. Her bravery is also one to match that of her father's. Her courageous nature causes Penny to not really show much fear towards things and of course behave recklessly. Like a majority of her fellow house mates, Penny is one to wear her heart on her sleeve. She expresses her emotions freely and at times bluntly.
little miss putting it bluntly;; Penny has the tendency to say things as they are. It's not that she's trying to be mean, of course not, she just doesn't seem to see what she's truly saying. She does catch on to the things that are coming from her mouth from time to time which causes her to stop, but it's not an everyday thing. Her blunt statements, in certain occassions, gets her into trouble whether by upsetting someone or merely putting herself in a sticky situation. She says things, usually with no malice intended as well as sometimes even with a smile. Those who know her well find their own ways to put up with Penny's blunt statements. It makes some believe that she's rather innocently cruel with some of the things she tends to say.
curiosity killed the cat;; When it comes to that shrouded in mystery, you'll see Penny attempting to investigate immediately. She's very curious and attracted to mystery as well as the unknown rather easily. Due to her curious nature, she tends to enjoy exploring and learning new things constantly. Her thirst for quenching her never ending curiosity usually results in her stepping beyond the borders that are set for her just to see what lays beyond them. Penny will sometimes find herself thinking about random questions in which the answer is unknown and will begin questioning it. This particular trait at times aggravates her father in particular as it's always him Penny goes to.
observer;; Her curious nature causes Penny to be rather observant. She may not seem like it, while happily chatting away or having fun, but she is one to notice the more tiny details that leads to the bigger picture. She can usually tell when someone dislikes or likes something or if they're trying to lie to her. When she's extremely close to someone, don't even try hiding things from her. During conversations and such, Penny usually catches or notices things others usually don't see. She merely silently collects information on them all the while having fun at the same time.
the star gazer&&herbology lover;; When it comes to astronomy in general, Penny is the freak of the stars. She absolutely loves stargazing and you can find her at the top of the astronomy tower, on a blanket, with her telescope, gazing at a particular constellation. The stories each constellation tells had always facinated Penny since she was a little girl, since then astronomy became her favorite subject. Herbology on the other hand comes to a close second. Like her father, Neville Longbottom, Penny has a knack in Herbology. She loves plants and is fascinated by the many forms they come in as well as the magical properties they possess. Since her father taught her about the many magical plants within the wizarding world, Penny couldn't help but feel a pull towards the subject of Herbology.
a stubborn little girl;; Though she's naturally sweet as sugar, Penny is also an extremely stubborn cause. She's difficult to handle in most respects, especially when it comes to that of obeying. Penny is one to not like being pushed around nor is she one to follow orders like a dog. If one tells her to do something, Penny won't hesitate to refuse. She doesn't like being told what to do which sometimes gets her in trouble with authority figures. She likes doing her own thing and will in fact snap if necessary. However, she does show respect to authority figures (that doesn't mean she won't show some sass) but the one person who can truly control her is her father.
the overall sweet&&friendly nature;; In general, Penny possesses a very sweet and friendly nature. She's open and friendly to anyone she meets unless they prove otherwise. Her open attitude to most causes her to make friends without much difficulty. There are her quirks that cause some to be wary of her, however. She's quite the social butterfly on the otherhand, however. She's sweet and rather kind, being one who won't hesitate to help another in need. She's openly caring and an excellent confidant as she is a great listener as well.

THIS WAY COMES LOVE
PLAY BY;; Carolanne Evans
EYES;; pale blue
HAIR;; chocolate brown
HEIGHT;; five feet four inches
WEIGHT 103 lbs.
MARKINGS;; she has a scar from where the mountain lion bit her.
OVERALL DESCRIPTION;;
Penelope posesses a well defined jawline which ends at her prominent chin, complete with her pointed nose. With her sweet, placid face, Penny has quite the adorable appearnce. She has the wide, somewhat heavy lidded doe-like eyes upon her placid face. Along her eyes are the long dark lashes while above them are her perfectly trimmed eyebrows. She has inherited her mother's eyes as they are pale blue in hue. The shape of her eyes, however, are a cross between Neville and Hannah. Her flesh is that of a creamy white tone, the coloring seeming almost translucent which she finds aggravating. It appears as though she has inherited her mother's skin tone in this sense.
Along her hairline is a head full of chocolate brown locks, inheriting that of her father's hair color rather then her mother's. This works rather well as it makes her pale eyes stand out against her dark hair. Penny's hair naturally parts to the left, her fringe side sweeping itself in that general direction. Her bangs tend to get in the way of her line of vision from time to time, so you'll probably see Penny have some hair pins in her hair to keep it out of her eyes. Her hair is naturally wavy, though she tends to straighten it when she's in the mood.
Standing at the average height of five feet four inches and weighing at a rather light 103 pounds, Penny is rather slim. She has a slim and slender frame which is rather noticeable the moment you set eyes on her. She doesn't have too much curves to her body, though she does posess some, however she seems a little more flat if anything. On her shoulder is a large scar from where the mountain lion had bitten her when she was six. It's because of this particular feature that she doesn't really like wearing tank tops.

HISTORY;;
So of course everyone knows Neville Longbottom, but what about his oldest daughter?
Being born to Neville Longbottom and Hannah Abbott before the two were even married, Penelope was born as a bastard child. She came into her new world on October 24, 2005. She was named Penelope Alice Longbottom, her middle name being derived from her grandmother, Alice Longbottom. As Neville looked down at his newborn daughter he came to the realization on how much he truly loved Hannah. Soon after Penny's birth, Neville proposed to which Hannah happily accepted. The two were married and the newlyweds immediately began their life with their first child. As the saying goes, your first child is usually the child you tend to make mistakes with. It's your first child after all, it's inevitable. Despite these occurences now and then, Hannah and Neville brought up Penelope rather well.
Penelope instantly clung to her father more then her mother, often trailing after Neville like a little puppy. She's been officially dubbed as 'daddy's little girl' to which she lives up to. As she is able to weasle things out of her father, getting her way and such, he in turn is able to control her, Neville being the only one that Penny would truly obey no matter the circumstances.
When Hannah became pregnant once again, three year old Penny was fascinated as she followed her mother around. For the next nine months, Penny would curiously poke at her mother's belly and ask in incoherent sentences when her baby sister would 'hatch'. Hannah found Penny's reaction to her pregnancy halarious while Neville just couldn't stop laughing about it. One day, while Penny was helping her mother with the laundry, Hannah's water broke to which she was rushed to the hospital. An antsy Neville waited for his wife with the company of Penny who wondered what on earth was going on. At long last, Neville and Penny were able to see newborn Magnolia Longbottom.
Taking Magnolia home, Penny was at first curious as to who this new little creature was. She'd watch her little sister in her crib, hear her cry, watch as she was cooed over and cared for. This kind of feeling didn't really agree with Penny. She steadily grew rather jealous of Magnolia, however, as her younger sister received more attention then she did. This jealousy lasted for quite some time though later drastically changed. However, this doesn't yet happen, we shall get to that.
One of the memories that stood out vividly in Penelope's childhood was the attack of the mountain lion when she was six years old. When Penny turned six, Neville asked her what she wanted for her birthday present from him to which she happily replied, 'camping trip'. Packing their bags the day after her birthday, Neville and Penny bid Hannah and three year old Magnolia goodbye before zooming off to their one week camping trip. Penny happily enjoyed the first four days of the trip as she and Neville camped in the forests a few miles from where they lived. However, on the fifth day was when things went wrong. While Neville went to gather wood, not journeying far from the camping site, Penny stayed back. She was playing when she was confronted by a large mountain lion. Frozen in her tracks, before Penny could react, the large beast was attacking her. Penny's screams alerted Neville to which he rushed to her aide. After blasting the mountain lion off Penny with his wand, Neville saw that his daughter was bleeding. Panicking, he Apparated them to St. Mungo's. Luckily Penny was fine, though her wound was deep enough to leave quite the horrible scar upon her shoulder.
During her childhood, Penelope was able to meet the enormous Weasley family, Potter family and Scamander family consider Neville was good friends with them. Since her father had told her so many stories about the famous Harry Potter, Penny couldn't help but be fascinated by him. The Longbottom family was sometimes invited over for dinner at the Potter's household which got Penny well aquainted with their children. The children often played with one another during these gatherings and Penny enjoyed going over to their houses. She really like all three of her father's friends and was amused especially with Luna.
When Penelope was ten, Magnolia being seven, the turning point between the two sisters began. It started when Neville and Hannah went off to work leaving them in the care of the babysitter which Penny often complained about, claiming she didn't need a sitter because she wasn't a baby. The sitter announced that they could play hide and seek to which the sisters uncaringly agreed to. When the sitter went off to count, Penny and Magnolia hid, Penny hiding in the closet. Wanting to scare the children, the sitter found where Penny was hiding and tied the closet door shut before sneaking away. She meant to merely scare the two sisters, however, a thunderstorm began which immediately frightened Magnolia out of her hiding place. As the sitter ran around the house to check up on everything, Penny was desperately trying to escape from the closet. The loud booming thunder was frightening her and she didn't like being locked in a dark creepy closet, hearing it's loud booms and seeing bright flashes of lightning. Panicking, Penny began screaming for release but the thunderstorm drowned away her pleas of help. Becoming scared now, Penny began trying to get herself free of the closet but to no avail. This lasted for about fifteen minutes before Magnolia noticed her sister missing. Deciding to go look for her, she heard Penny, now crying and ran over to the closet where she was trapped. Working fast, she untied the bindings of the closet and felt her sister collapse into her arms. Not knowing what to do, Magnolia comforted her sister as they went under a blanket together, making shadow puppets on the wall with their flashlight for the remainder of the storm. Since then, Penny became particularly close with her little sister.
When Penny received her letter from Hogwarts at age eleven she was extremely excited. She could barely contain herself on the train to Hogwarts, with all her spellbooks and school supplies. Upon her arrival she along with all the other first year students, sailed across the lake to the enchanting castle that is Hogwarts. She was then Sorted into Gryffindor by the Sorting Hat. Upon hearing about her Sorting, both Hannah and Neville were proud much to Penny's pleasure.
As her years in Hogwarts went on, Penny steadily learned more about her father and his heroic deeds he had done, especially during his seventh year at Hogwarts. Penny was a little skeptical to confront her father about these stories but decided to ask him about it anyway. She grew a deep admiration and greater respect for her father as he confirmed, rather sheepishly, that the stories were true.
As the stories of the war spread around the wizarding world like wildfire, Penny couldn't help but notice how much her father's face hardened or how his fists clenched at the sound of Bellatrix Lestrange's name. She soon came to learn that Bellatrix Lestrange was responsible for how her grandparent's were. Penny listened in shock as Neville explained to her how Bellatrix Lestrange had tortured them into insanity for information but they never gave in. This caused Penny to develop a rippling hatred towards the Dark Lady as she called herself. After the death of Bellatrix Lestrange, Penny's hatred for her has somewhat dissolved.
She is faced with a new dilema though. Her father as the new headmaster of Hogwarts. She knows her side to this battle of course, it's quite obvious. Though Penny states she ready to take on Death Eaters, to fight and stand up for the things she believes in...Is that really true? There is only so much that bravery can do after all.

Dimitri had wandered into the town of Gantrick out of pure boredom and in the need of a drink, alcoholic preferably. He had enjoyed exploring the town, for it was a rather interesting place. Everywhere you turned, there was always something new, completely different from everyday human life. It wasn't only the pure intriguing town that drawn Dimitri upon it's premises, but also the fact that his real father may be living amongst these many others as well. Unfortunately, his grandfather, Lorrick wasn't one to agree for him to be wandering off at the dead of the night which he was currently doing at this present moment. It didn't particularly matter to Dimitri, however, he was quite content with not listening to anyone's commands. Why should he listen? He'd only end up disobeying anyway. There was no point in such authority figures to even try and control him, he did things his own way. Another one of Dimitri's more selfish thoughts.
Making his way towards Payko's Pub which as located on the western side of Gantrick, Dimitri was enjoying the cool night air, something that was hard to come by within the castle walls. It was a rather quiet night within the Gantrick town, though golden rays shone through the windows of houses and such here and there, the complete darkness causing them to look as though they were floating upon nothing. Dimitri wasn't one to be easily scared by such things as he walked along the cobbled stone street in the direction of Payko's Pub. He was aware that he wasn't of age to even get any alcoholic beverage, but perhaps if he was lucky he might just get a something through means of his charms. It would be rather lucky for him if the bartender was female.
Finally reaching the pub, the young 'human' opened the door, entering instant warmth from the chilly Christmassy cold from outside. Looking around, Dimitri's icy blue eyes scanned the pub, a few tables were full of already drunken men much to his dismay. Shrugging in his coat, Dimitri walked to a table near the back before taking a seat towards a shadowy corner of the pub. To his immediate delight, the server was indeed a female and she was already eyeing his appearance with considerate admiration. Giving him a wink, she leaned over dangerously close enough for if Lauren was present she would most likely kill the young server without the need of shifting into something that could. Dimitri cocked his head to the side, before grinning rather mischievously in which the young server leaned back and nodded in understanding.
Placing his elbows on the table, Dimitri decided that it was nice to know body language for he already knew it was pleasant to have good looks. Brushing strands of his dark hair from his eyes, the teenager leaned back in his chair, glancing up at the ceiling. He was quite content in this bar, perhaps it would be a wonderful place to go when he and his friends all reached the age of 21. It wasn't like he could get free alcohol for a group of teenagers, that was for sure. Listening to the talk and chatter around him, a loud crash instantly got Dimitri out of his stupor. He jumped, clearly startled at this sudden action and looked around wildly. Eyes growing wide, Dimitri couldn't believe his eyes in what currently stood in the doorway of the pub. The rushing cold instantly caused the once warm and merry pub to drop it's temperature a few degrees. The rustling snowflakes flew in as Dimitri continued to stare at the doorway in a sort of frozen shock.
It was a unicorn. A beautiful, pure white unicorn, purer and more solid white then freshly fallen snow. The shock that followed the unicorn's entrance was soon disturbed by the screaming server girl and the bartender followed by the owners and a barking Payko. The unicorn's glossy eyes seemed to narrow and Dimitri then saw that there was an unconscious girl upon the creature's back. He watched in amazement as the unicorn placed the girl upon the wooden surface of a table near to his own, the creature's eyes sought his and Dimitri could see the intelligence the beautiful creature held. It didn't really matter to him that the pub was in a type of chaos at the moment, the girl that rested upon the table was injured.
Observing the unicorn's actions, Dimitri watched as it began to change much to his bewilderment. He had learned about unicorn's in class, about how very few of them there were left in the world. The unicorn race was dying, on the brink of extinction and yet, he was blessed enough to see one with his own eyes. The only unicorn's he saw up until now were the ones that were in his textbooks. Gazing on, Dimitri saw the four legged horse-like creature turn into that of a beautiful girl with hair the color of the unicorn's mane. So it was a female unicorn after all. Her eyes were on him which actually made him feel uneasy as he sat in the shadowy corner of the pub. Her concern seemed to be the girl upon the table which Dimitri's ice blue eyes glanced at before laying themselves upon the unicorn girl before him. The girl upon the table seemed to be in much pain, with a ragged breath much to the young boy's alarm.
Getting up from where he sat, Dimitri hesitantly crossed the distance between himself and the unicorn before clearing his throat slightly. "She...Needs a doctor... he stated, pointing at the girl upon the table. "What happ...?" he trailed off as he felt the gaze of eyes staring into the back of his neck. Glaring slightly at the pub's customers and owners, he grabbed the unicorn girl by the hand and led her away, towards where he sat away from the staring eyes. He gently sat her down on the wooden seat. Unbuttoning his coat, he handed it to the girl, "Put this on and wait here," he instructed. Without waiting for an answer, Dimitri hurried to the pub where the owners stared at him. "Well?" he said impatiently, the demanding nature he possessed taking it's toll now that the shock had somewhat worn off on him. "Where's the phone? Can't you see that girl is in serious need of medical help?"
The woman gave him a look not liking his attitude which Dimitri honestly didn't care in the least, but later directed him towards the phone. Without wasting time, Dimitri dialed the number to Runetol hastily asking for the extenstion to the hospital wing. After informing the nurse of the situation, he was given permission, much to his relief, to bring the girl in. Glancing over at the unconsious girl the unicorn had placed upon the table, Dimitri bit his lip, not particularly recognizing her. After being assured by the nurse, Dimitri hun up the phone and hurried back to where the unicorn girl sat.
"Alright...I'm going to help you," he told her bluntly. "I just need to know what exactly happened? And who is that girl?" Dimitri inquired, looking over his shoulder at the unconsious girl who seemed to be in terrible suffering.
