OVERALL PERSONALITY: To Rowan, life is nothing what it seems. She's the one kind of person to know a bit about that. She hides herself within her paintings and drawings. Always putting herself somewhere in the image in hopes of losing herself within one to take away what she is. She cannot help the strong need for blood. But can easily fight against it if she doesn't need it. She's quiet and very shy, but of course she's scared that if she lets her true self out that everyone will judge her for what she is.
Bright lights scare her too the point of blinding her. Whereas surrounded by complete darkness she's at ease and has free roam of not bumping into anything. Late nights are a must for her, because well its where she's mostly active at. The only thing to greet her is the stars themselves with nothing blinding her sight or forcing her to wear sunglasses to protect her eyes.
Her favorite subject happens to be Defense Against the Dark Arts, but of course half vampire would be part of something considered dark? She finds potions her least due to all the things you must touch to make a potion. Which in one case could be silver, which is quite a bothersome to her considering it burns at the touch. Its an embarrassing task when she must ask the teacher to do it for her, when she can't stand the sight of her classmates looking at how foolish she is.

OVERALL DESCRIPTION: Rowan could be considered unresisting at first. She just has the look of beauty that most males can't fight off. No matter how much she tries to avoid looking at anyone. Her eyes give that smokey blue gray look as if she's truly hiding from the world in a cloud of smoke or fog. Her hair is of a golden color when sunlight hits it, but other than that it looks as if its just a bright blond color. Her hair falls past her shoulders to end at the mid of her back on her five feet three inch height.

OVERALL HISTORY: Rowan was born in Cardiff on a cold December 3rd morning. Of course it was quite a strange birth and nearly impossible, but of course we won't go into those details. Rowan's parents were too love birds at first sight. Her mother Marie Jethro was 24 years his junior to Hunter Amber, a vampire to say the least. Hunter was not a wizard like Marie was a witch. Though he did have plenty of knowledge of the witches and wizards of the magical world. It didn't matter to him that he stood out in a crowd or that he was different, but at least he knew someone cared about him. Even if it meant that she would take her life to save his and their impossible child.
By impossible, it would be very rare to see a half-vampire half-human child running around the streets. Hunter found it impossible, Marie thought of it as unique. Rowan was quite special to say the least and a witch like her mother. Though it tore the family apart due to what Hunter was. Rowan was six when it happened. The three of them were coming back from the ice rink to find themselves ambushed when they reached their home. There had been a group of them, vampire hunters, waiting to strike at any minute. Many of them were either witches or wizards who had a dislike toward vampires or they were muggles who knew about vampires and wanted them off the planet. Marie being the bold one had stepped into the path of her husband to take a wooden stake that killed her in the end.
From that moment on, the group feeling as if they would be charged scrambled away as Hunter became furious and started to chase them down. He managed to kill two out of the group of eight, twisting their necks. When he came back he found that Marie had passed on, her arms had been wrapped around the crying Rowan, as he went to find a new place to stay.
It was a memory Rowan couldn't take away. No matter how much she wanted to get rid of it, it always stayed with her. The memory of her mother's murder. She knew she was different, from the start. When she was eleven and got accepted into Ravenclaw til the time now. She always knew she would be different. No matter what she was. Even if she was half-vampire and half-human she would always see herself different, always trying to find a place to fit in with.
Of course she ignored everyone who gave her dirty looks through the years and always came back to relate these stories to her father who took her out hunting every night for their share of blood. They would often go after the ones that caused others pain or went after animals who weren't going to make it for much longer. Rowan had kept the secret from her classmates in fear they would torment her for what she was. Even though she had her father to stand by herself no matter what her choice was.

ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE:
so she was his play toy? that sounded like it would have been a fun night with him. not really, considering she would be the one screaming insults and swearing like a sailor at the pain she was in. and then she would fear for her life afterward. wondering if that night would be her last or if she would live for a few more days in agony.
what worried her more was the fact that he was holding the other pistol and was talking about how the bullet exploded when it embedded itself into its target. she tried to see the look on his face, but as the sky was growing darker so was her vision to see the expression of the man who was trying to use her as his toy. "please don't! please!" she was screaming at him trying to get him to change his mind about it.
all she wanted that night was to go home and have a lazy night, not be out here bleeding to death because some man thought it was funny to shoot people and watch them as they slowly bled out onto the street. it made her feel scared that she was going to die out on the street instead of being taken to a hospital to get her leg stitched up so she could go back to her daily life without any harm being done to her, but she couldn't see that life anymore.
rowan looked to the man who had been off in the distance that she had called to for help. she heard xavier explain that she shouldn't have called out to him or he would have been alive and would have ignored her screams for help and the cries of agony. she had closed her eyes, to not view the scene at hand as she was sure xavier would kill the man before long, but she opened them just as the man had came running to help her up. she saw xavier on the ground, with a few bullet holes piercing his body.
she was screaming in pain as she was being picked up, she had just managed to grab her bag before the man started to hurry as fast as he could to get her to safety. yet, for good measure the man shoot xavier a few more times just to make sure the man was dead. rowan was trying hard to bite her lip to keep her from screaming, but it was no use as the tears were falling from the pain even as the man carried her to safety.
they had stopped running and he set her down on a park bench. rowan being the one injured tried to tell him otherwise to get her to a hospital, not worry about the freak of nature, but the man wouldn't listen to her as he went back to make sure xavier was truly dead. rowan only hoped the man would hurry back to take her to get help, she didn't want to die out on the stupid park bench because some fool wanted to make sure a man was dead even though he got hit with eight bullets. she lied down on the bench and had her right leg hanging off the side of the bench to keep her from deciding to roll off while she tried to keep her left leg straight on the bench, while looking up at the stars as if they could easily come and calm her down. she winced when she heard the sound of gunshots, but she wasn't sure what to expect next.
