Alectrona believes that all people should have freedom, a core belief that allowed her to leave her family. Scorpius of course had something to do with leaving as well, not wanting to part from his side but her own core beliefs made her want to leave. She discovered through dance already that something was wrong with restricting what someone can do. When someone has a talent they should shine, although once she made the connection that the talent could also be with the mud-blood she kept it secret. That is until she told her brother she felt the same way about the life they lived. She is a young daughter however who does feel guilt for leaving parents who were only continually trying to protect she and her brother.

Still deep down inside she has a strong conviction to fight for what she believes in, she certainly didn't guarantee she would feel bad in the long run but she feels like it was necessary. With this said, Alectrona is a quite girl somewhat like her brother in that respects, although when she gets fired up she shows the occasional Malfoy temper. Despite this, she has an overall composure that limits occurrences of her temper to extremely rare occasion... this became true especially after she joined dance.

When Scorpius first went away Alectrona became very downhearted and depressed, so Astoria decided to enroll her in a dance program with some other high upstanding members of the community that had small kids. She took to it right away without hesitation, and blossomed at such a young age. No, nothing like she suddenly got whacked with the boob fairies wand, just the sort of self-confidence she would need to survive. This is what gives her the red in her cheeks, the brighter glow back to her eyes, and slowly gave her the athletic body that today is considered incredibly desirable. As she grew older the boob fairy did indeed visit, and gave her a fair gift. Thankfully as she will often say, not to generous, for that would make dancing a tad difficult. Looking at her is like looking at her mother, although its noticeable at one point in time Astoria and Draco slept together, because the paler Malfoy skin, the intensity of Alectrona's eyes... she didn't walk away from a specific pure-blood gene pool without getting some lovely trinkets.

Alectrona had a mostly uneventful birth although her childhood until the age of ten had her somewhat blissful life finally disintegrated for the most part into reality. Born to a pure-blood family already her parents had expectations for how to handle her, although no one had expected Astoria to outright fight for full naming rights. She had won, something to this day Narcissa is annoyed with, although the children knew little about this squabble. Really because they thought it best just to move onto the next thing on their agenda, they didn't see the point in dwelling on the new birth. Astoria and Draco for the most part they tried to be nurturing but with both of them from homes of broken love they were struggling. Dear little Scorpius however had right away taken to his younger sister, with love that you would almost wonder (and hope) that his parents had tried to transfer to him. As they both grew, Scorpius had become her other half, and allowed her to block out mostly any foul teaching that both parents would have wished perhaps they would have waited to teach. The slow decline into teachings of the pure ways, Scorpius began to get stressed which would often put a damper their young friendship. None the less though, there was always time for Alectrona... until Hogwarts came to the horizon.

Part of her was honestly about ready to tear up the Hogwarts letter her brother got, and then soon decided to make the best off it. Especially when she saw how excited her brother was for the chance to go learn, which first started her philosophical stage of life. Spending much time notating and observing different speeches given, whether it be on confidence, the importance of houses or often information about blood (all that seemed to tie in the subject of school). Whether it be noticing the reactions or tone of each conversation, there was quite a bit of difference. This seemed to drain her mother, and at times her father because the Malfoy grandparents didn't look to interested in pausing their more elaborated tirades about the subjects. She would note her brother's slow ponderance, but nothing as of yet she was able to understand fully.

Later on when her brother had began strenuous training that left him virtually no time, Alectrona naturally felt down and sad. This often lead her to sit and stare into the sky, hardly able to focus on anything else. With Alectrona in such a condition, her parents began searching for something to distract their daughter. It wouldn't be until at least a week or so after Scorpius was enthralled with something was Alectrona brought to a ballet academy. Astoria had chosen ballet because she never got the chance from her parents to go to something of the nature. She figured she would at least give her daughter the opportunity, something Alectrona took to in the main practice area. Right away begging to get dancing and was already lacing on the ballet shoes her mother had brought to her. Saying goodbye just as other mothers were to their children, Astoria left a little girl wanting her mother to leave right away. Alectrona was ready to step out into a new place, where she was already loving it.

She had run into Rose Weasley on the first day.

Rose and Alectrona were instant friends although they were a year apart it still didn't mean they were demonstrating a quite strong connection. Both of them were just as talented and both, were pondering things that they agreed on without question. Although this was a shaky friendship at first, neither parents knew about their friendship and those others in class often didn't pay attention nor care. At first Alectrona had kept to herself in class but when she was having issues with her turns, Rose easily came to her rescue. Explaining how to spot a landing, something that Alectrona was having issues with fully understanding because she would so often be distracted by other things. Once Rose got to talking with her she began to grow disappointed, when seven year old Alectrona asked eight year old Rose why, she explained a bit more about blood purity. And how neither parents would probably want them to be friends. None the less she right away kept the secret desperate not to loose her first opportunity for a friend.

This friendship grew, and gave her someone else to send owls to when her brother had went away to Hogwarts. She honestly had missed her friend and brother, and began to question the things she was told. To stay way from order members, half bloods and muggle-borns, when she got along with them so well in class. She knew a few more people with order backgrounds that she became fast friends with. Alectrona deep in thought had entered in Hogwarts and was sorted fast into Ravenclaw, something that both she and Rose was slightly happier than her family had been. Well more or less her grandparents, her mother and father and brother still welcomed her with open arms. None the less after much strife it had died down because more painful truths would rise up the horizon. And which sent Alectrona to the dance floor more often, and had made her ballet shoes one of her closest friends.

Getting a better chance to spend time with her dear friend Rose Weasley now she was in the same house, she still for some reason limits the contact whenever her brother was around. Although he was friends with all kinds of people, she was even careful around him because of her extreme caution she's always taken. Because of her cautious nature she became extremely sensitive to moments around her, noticed her parents beginning to be stressed with some sort of impending doom. She's an extremely observant person and has nearly become obsessed though with the recent shows of dark magic, to some they may describe it as becoming more evident, she finds them being incredibly blatant because of the careful eye she has on the situation.
