---------------------------------------------------- the sun was slowly hitting the edge of the horizon. muggles were walking around enjoying the cool air of august. they were all gathered in groups laughing with each other. cardiff was a wonderful place to be. it was also the place, rowan called home. she was sitting in the middle of the square on a bench drawing. she was drawing the area, blending the colors to make the sunset. she would have drawn something magic related, but she didn't want to explain herself to the muggles who stared over her shoulder to ask what she was drawing because they wouldn't have a clue what it was if she told them. the night before her father said he would join her tonight and the two would go out hunting together. he didn't approve of drinking from animals, he preferred humans. he said it was the way it gave him strength. rowan understood why, those who drank from animals were greatly weaker than the vampires who fed from humans. but it wouldn't have mattered to her. she could go both ways, eating actually food and drinking blood. nothing bothered her. she could somewhat taste what the food was like, but it wasn't enjoyable as blood was. maybe it was the way it went down, smooth and gave her the strength to actually do things humans could not do. rowan looked up from the page and saw that the night had fallen. did she zone out too much to realize that it was dark already? she put away the sketchbook and grabbed her bag. her father would be here any second now. he was by far faster than her and stronger, but that had come with age. she was still considered weak to him, but she had magic while hunter himself did not. she stood by the bench waiting. time passed as nothing came by. did he forget? she knew he had buddies that he liked to hang out with, but this was almost insane. he promised her he would come tonight. it was their father daughter night before she set out into the world alone. the square was less crowded from when she got there, and less people were in large groups. many of them seem cheery and rather disgusting looking to her. she made a scowl as she watched them pass. searching the square she saw a figure at the edge of it coming toward her. oh thank goodness. she thought as she saw her father there. "i thought you would never come, dad. what took you so long?" she asked as the two hugged. he looked tired and almost like he was ready for tonight. "what's wrong?" she pestered him as he made her take a seat on the bench. he was a rather quiet man, but he knew what he was talking about when he meant it. "tonight won't work out. i know i promised, but something came up. i figured i come and tell you in person. we can do it tomorrow if you would like. i'm free then. i forgot the guys and i were going to go out to london and scare the people there. rather look for hunters because they killed scar's brother. i promised him when he found out. sorry rowan." his words sat in her mind as he vanished from the square a short time later. she was annoyed and hurt that he told her this. she was looking forward to tonight. if all else it was something she had been looking forward to for a while. it was never any fun going out by oneself and trying to hunt. sure it worked, but she liked to tag team and taunt the victims before taking the kill. it was something she liked when she wasn't at hogwarts and had to take to feeding off of animals. she took the sketchpad out again and started to draw on a clean sheet of paper. the drawing was turning to something dark and dreary. her appearance was pleasant, but the train running through her mind made her miserable and annoyed. it probably would lead to her downfall if she went out hunting later. crying was for babies, but tears did fall onto the page, but they weren't exactly the salt filled clear ones falling onto the page. she quickly had to try and wipe the blood stained tears off of the page before anyone noticed. she was a mess now. ---------------------------------------------------- STATUS, finished! C A N W E P I C K U P T H E P A C E T U R N I T U P, H E A T I T U P I N E E D T O B E E N T E R T A I N E D Cardiff. That’s where Alexander Evan found himself the night of August 23. The hotel room was quiet now, his parents had gone out for the night(actually afternoon), eat and walk around the city. Alexander could have apparated near the Quidditch stadium, like most wizards would do. But his parents had been looking forward to a family trip before their only child moved out. Alexander was happy to accept, he loved his parents and with Hogwarts he wasn’t home that much. So the day before the actual Quidditch world cup they’d flown to Cardiff. It had been enjoyable, he’d forgotten how much he enjoyed spending time with his parents. He mostly went to the matches during the night(not all of them), thought others went during the day too. Today would be the final match Peru vs. France.
Alex would have wanted his parents to attend, but they‘d made plans for the night. The finals probably meant that he could catch some of his old friends there. When he was ready, Alex picked a coat up, some money and left. It was warm, but more than once the night had turned cold, plus he was going to be high up. He noticed he had two extra tickets and frowned. Had he known he could have asked some of his school mates to attend with him today, they could have apparated before the game. It was too late now thought, it was wasted money but he couldn’t do much about it. Plus there was a chance of coming across someone that needed an extra one, he could probably sell them. Not everyone was lucky to get tickets for the finals. He had needed some help from his parents(who thankfully were will financially) to afford them.
His frown had disappeared by after some blocks. He could use magic to get there, bring himself closer at least. But he enjoyed the fresh air on his face, it was a bit like flying on a broom(to a lower speed). Plus his parents kept saying that he’d grown lazy, using magic for everything. The sky was orange now, the sun was finally hiding down the horizon, it was a beautiful sight. He remembered standing in the Ravenclaw tower, looking at the sundown. At that high it had been like a dream, one that he wouldn’t be seeing again in some time. His time in Hogwarts was over, his final year went by and he was out. It was strange, seven years there and now it was over. Alexander hoped to return to Hogwarts soon, not as a student but as an assistant and later full professor.
He guessed that must graduates wanted to do that(in other school not just Hogwarts). But his eyes were placed in Muggle Studies, a subject that Alex noticed was most of the time open. He knew the reason behind this, most Muggle Studies professors didn’t last long, must didn’t live long. He shivered even thought it was warm outside, things were a lot more different now than they had been 20 years back. But the shadow of blood purity was still around. Many acted different, but they still knew deep inside that the prejudice would never really die. Maybe they would stop this generation of Death eaters, but there would always be more out there. They didn’t even need to be Death Eaters, some wizards would still look at muggle borns like they were something strange almost impossible. It wasn’t like they wanted them death or anything, they were just strange.
Alex looked around, he’d walked into a square, which meant he was closer. As he looked Alex cached sight of blonde hair and a familiar face. He grinned brightly, he hadn’t really expected to come across a fellow Ravenclaw so soon. “Rowan!” Alexander waved his hand slightly, he wasn’t sure if she’d seen him yet. Maybe they could go to the World Cup together, he couldn’t see anyone else with her(thought he could be wrong). He lowered his hand, walking closer now. Rowan like Alex wasn’t a full witch. He’d learned of her vampire side by accident. Vampires like werewolves weren’t the must loved creatures in the wizard(or muggle) world. While there were more laws to help werewolves who were for must of the time human, vampires were still mostly hated and hunted.

---------------------------------------------------- rowan's drawing had her attention more than she heard alex calling to her. she heard him, but thought it was someone else calling to someone else in the square. she was furiously trying to get the drawing done. she hated leaving things unfinished. she looked up to see alex coming toward her waving. why was he so cheery? while she was so miserable he seemed to be having a nice time by himself it seemed as he made his way over to her. "hi alex. why are you are here and in such a good mood?" she asked as she finished wiping the tears off of her cheeks with the sleeve of her peacoat. what was alex doing in cardiff anyways? most of the people she knew lived in england, not wales. so this was quite a surprise to see him here when she was in such a sad mood. maybe he could cheer that mood up for her. she wasn't finished with her drawing, but it didn't matter now, she could always pick it up again later when she was bored enough to do that. now it just seemed rude to finish drawing when someone else was there with her. the drawing wouldn't have been there had her father not ditched her for his friends. she knew where his loyalty lied, with his damn friends over his own blood. she stood up from the bench and went to hug alex when he was close enough to her. she hadn't seen anyone from hogwarts since they left it. she had been spending the summer by herself and shortly everyone would be going back to school and she would have to find something to do for the year. she couldn't live off her father forever. though it was nice to see alex and see how he was doing so far out of hogwarts. "what's going on? is this your first time in cardiff?" she asked as she quickly walked back to the bench to put her things away in her bag. no point keeping it out if it was too dark now to see what she was doing. there was always another time and another day to draw. tonight seemed like it wasn't going to go to waste after all. it wasn't what she had hoped, but seeing alex, made her night. she was happy to see him. ---------------------------------------------------- STATUS, finished! C A N W E P I C K U P T H E P A C E T U R N I T U P, H E A T I T U P I N E E D T O B E E N T E R T A I N E D Alex’s grin widened even more as he hugged Rowan tightly. He’d met some friend some days after the school year had ended. But since that meeting he’d been far too bust to get together with any old friends. During the games he’d gone to see Alex had seen two or three familiar faces, but he hadn’t been able to talk to them. Most people waited for the final matches, specially when the Cup was in a different country. If he was meeting someone, tonight was the mostly likely night for him to meet them. He smiled at Rowan, pulling back now. She looked almost the same, when they were younger people changed a lot during the summer holidays. But once they grew older, they weren’t as obvious.
Rowan was quite pretty. He remembered having a crush on her when he was younger, it was strange to see someone like her alone out here. At first Alex had imagined she was here for the games, but her words made him think that maybe she’d forgotten about them. Then Alex remembered that Rowan was from Wales, so maybe she was just here because her home was near. “My good mood comes from seen a fellow Ravenclaw alumni here. I’m on vacation with my parents, they came for the views and I came for the Quidditch World Cup.” His parents were that crazy about Quidditch which is why he hadn’t been bothered by them not coming tonight.
It was just Quidditch his parents weren’t fans of sports in general, too dirty they said. Quidditch itself was even more confusing and dangerous. It eased their worries not to know the danger their only child risked when he played Quidditch. He almost smiled at that, his parents were happy for him. But he doubted they’ll ever fully understand the magical world. Maybe in the same way wizards would understand the muggle ones. As long as the brick wall that separated them reminded that’s strong neither world would fully understand the other. Just like they still weren’t able to understand many magical creatures.
“are you going to the World Cup? I’m on my way to it now, I mean I have two extra tickets so even if you don’t have one I can give you one of them.” Alex blushed, he wasn’t attracted to Rowan as much as he’d been a few years back. But talking to girl wasn’t one of his strength, specially when the conversation sounded far too much like a date. “The were for my parents, but Quidditch is a bit too much for them. So I told them to go on a date, they needed one.” He was blabbing, that was just great. He sounded like a young teenager boy(which he still was) asking a girl on a date. Which brought and even worse image to his head.
“Unless you have other plans for the night. I‘m sure you probably do have plans with friend and family.” He wasn’t sure, Rowan wasn’t the most social person in Hogwarts. But maybe she was different back home. “It would be better to have a friend along, than go alone.”

---------------------------------------------------- world cup? the world cup was happening? why did she figure that out on her own? she could have gone to those instead of being miserable. guess she never really knew about them until alex said something about them happening. "i didn't know they were happening. i could have gone to them instead of drawing everyday out of boredom." she said as she picked her bag up and slung it onto her shoulder. she couldn't believe she could have been spending her summer watching the quidditch games instead of at home bored. she could have told her father that she was going there tonight and he wouldn't have wasted his time telling her that he couldn't make it because he was going to hang out with his friends and scare the living crap out of muggles because he found that to be fun. "no, alex i don't have any plans anymore. my dad bailed on me because he would rather go into london with a few of his friends and scare muggles out of their knickers. don't even ask, that's his way of having fun and getting payback for what they did. at least to the hunters. Hunter is hunting his prey instead of hunting with me. you can see where my mood went downhill from there." she sounded annoyed as she spoke, but it disappeared shortly afterward. if alex was offering then yes she would go with him. who wanted to go to the quidditch finals alone? that wouldn't be very fun. did he think she would say no? after all she was keeper on the quidditch team at hogwarts. "why would you want to go there by yourself? that would never be any fun. of course i would go with you. as friends. if anyone asks, we're going as friends. bunch of creeps when they start getting nosy about what's going on." rowan was never one to talk about her personal life in front of strangers or classmates. it just seemed silly, but with friends it seemed rather normal. "besides you would look a little weird cheering by yourself in the stands while everyone else had a pal to cheer with. were you on your way there while you walked through the square? you should this place while its busy, bunch of idiots roaming around here. its disgusting, but quite enjoyable to see all the idiots hanging around with groups of people who have no idea what they are walking into." rowan had a mind of her own. she wasn't a fan of crowds and she didn't like being in a group of more than three people. it gave her the willies, but quidditch was different. at least in the stands. always cheering on for one team to win and having a great time together. she hoped that was how her night would go with alex. ---------------------------------------------------- STATUS, finished! C A N W E P I C K U P T H E P A C E T U R N I T U P, H E A T I T U P I N E E D T O B E E N T E R T A I N E D Alex looked at Rowan with slight interest, Rowan who lived in Cardiff but had missed must of the Quidditch World Cup. After what she said he was sure she wasn’t having the best of summers. His parents were loving and at times very overprotective. But he understood that as an only child all that attention had no where else to go but him. But he was sure that even if Alex had brothers or sister they would still act the same way, must of his family acted like that. But not everyone was as lucky as Alexander Evans was. Some parents had other priorities, that weren’t their families. Some where their jobs, hobbies and in Rowan case friends.
He wanted to make a joke ease her, but he wasn’t sure what to say. Even thought he was friends with Rowan he didn’t know that much about her home life. “Well I was hoping to go with my parents, but they aren’t so crazy about Quidditch. We’d been going out together for must of the trip so I thought it would be fine for them to get a night for themselves.” A night whose ending he’d rather not know about, even thought he was eighteen now, the thought about his parents romantic life still grossed him out. He was sure that even if he was forty the whole thing would still gross him out. “Then I remembered that I already had the tickets and I couldn’t back down from my lonely date with myself.”
“Friends is fine, just the idea of something else will probably cause me a heart attack. I and girls don’t go well together.” Alex smiled awkwardly at her, holding his hand out for Rowan. “We should get moving the game should be about to begin.” Alex moved his hand to his robes, he could feel his wand and bellow it the tickets. He handed one to Rowan. If for whatever reason they got separated in the crowd, they could meet in the seats. He explained this to Rowan before walking forward. It was a lot better to go with someone else than alone, he could meet someone else in the game. But the chances of them having seats near each other were very low.
Rowan on the other hand was a fellow Quidditch fan. She like him was part of the Ravenclaw team. They’ll be able to joke about the game and cheer their team(s). It would definitely turn out more enjoyable than sitting alone, surrounded by strangers. He looked at Rowan. “So who are you cheering for, Peru or France.” Both teams were great, but since he had learned about Quidditch, Peru itself had earned a place on his heart. Still both teams had done great and would put a fight tonight. Alex couldn’t tell who would rise victorious tonight. They continued to walk, giving the tickets to an elderly wizard that stood in what appeared to be an old bench. That’s where the protective spell began, hiding the game and wizards from the muggle eye.
He could hear the loud noises of everyone finding their seats or just waiting for the games. There were muggles around, but it was like they couldn’t see it. Alex himself hadn’t been able to hear or see anything until he crossed the shield the Ministry had placed around the stadium. There were tends everywhere, but almost everyone had already left for the game. For a moment it hit Alex that no one could really see the two just graduated as they walked across the field. Alex turned to Rowan, ready to tell her the funny idea. But before he could even get a word out a flash of red light knocked him of his feet. Alex gasped when the spell him on the back, but he was unconscious before his body hit the ground.

Post by .TULAH ANEENE CARROW ! on Feb 6, 2011 22:50:54 GMT -5
MORE THAN WORDS YOU KEEP TO YOURSELF like a curse that fares thee well A shiver tingled at Tulah's spine, making the tiny hairs on the back of her neck stand up. Anticipation? Excitement? Tulah's eyes widened a little at the sound of such feeling, remembering just exactly how they got her blood pumping, her adrenaline to race through her body. She shivered again as she gripped her wand, fingering the hilt in a habit she had when she was very keenly occupied, observant. She had been uncommonly patient these last few days while they searched for her, the girl Regulus said would be the key to reigning in that vampire, Hunter. Hunter was strong and fueled by hatred, which Regulus had told them made him reckless, dangerous. The perfect vampire. Tulah had sneered at the idea of bringing the likes of such a filthy breed into the fold, but Reg's ideology forced her to keep her mouth shut and obey orders. Which normally Tulah wouldn't mind, hang as she did upon Regulus's every word and whim. And so she forced herself to be patient while they looked for her, quickly gathering intelligence on the vampire's daughter, his weakness. They didn't want to fly blindly about searching for her, and thus a little knowledge of the girl, "Rowan", as she was called, was in order. It wasn't heard to dig out a file on the former Hogwarts student, as Hunter himself was a registered creature with the ministry. Information revealed that the family lived in Cardiff, and the time of the capture was to coincide with the Quidditch World Cup. Tulah remembered giggling at the coincidence, laughing about how easy it would be to fetch her with hardly a diversion needed. Wizards and witches were going to be so raucous and crazy that a teenaged girl gone missing from the stands would hardly cause for alarm. Perhaps, they'd think, she got lost in the crowds, or went to get a snack or souvenir. It was so brilliantly simple that Tulah giggled even now, walking side by side with Regulus through the crowds at the QWC in Cardiff. "Regulus," Tulah said suddenly, looking up at him (as he was much taller than her), "when we see the girl, can I get her? I've been dreadfully bored these last few weeks." She pouted up at him, pushing back her tangled hair with her free hand. "You always send the boring people to do fun things instead of me." She punctuated her words with a few pokes to his chest, then smiled up at him. "'Course, I mean I'm here with you now, but don't take all the fun for yourself, kay?" She actually skipped a little then, scuffing her boots as they went. God, there was that shiver again, that feeling of complete fun and excitement at the idea of being out and about again, making strides to get their ultimate go and it felt fantastic. Tulah kept her eyes open as the adrenaline kicked in, and though they had been searching the crowds for awhile, she just knew they'd find her soon... And lo and behold, there, a few meters ahead was a mane of familiar blond hair. Tulah's face split into an entirely too ecstatic grin as she slapped at Reg's arm, pointing to her. "It's her!" She stood on tiptoe to hiss in his ear. "That's the girl!" The only problem was the boy walking obnoxiously close to her, but that situation was quickly sorted. Tulah skipped a few paces ahead of Regulus, jabbed her wand into the small of the boys back, bent lovingly toward his ear and whisphered " Stupefy!" The boy fell in a heap to the ground, and Tulah immediately bent down to look over him. "Oh, no!" She feigned horror, looking up at the strangers who had to tear their eyes away from the game. "He just passed out! too much excitement, oh, I'll get him some water..." The crowds bought her story and turned back to the game, and Tulah smirked. She stood to face the girl they were after, kicking the boy she just dropped for good measure. "Hey, sweetie," Tulah purred at Rowan, waiting a tic for Regulus to join her. "You're going to come with us now." words: 820 outfit: here tagged: rowan, alex, reg credit: someone else's arms, mae

---------------------------------------------------- rowan had to laugh at alex's comments. him and girls not getting along well. look at him now, he seemed to be getting along just fine with her, so what was his problem now? "what's your problem now? i'm very much a girl and you seem to be doing fine right now." rowan said she took his outstretched hand. she took the ticket and pocketed it as they moved on toward the quidditch world cup. boy could this night get any more exciting. she looked around after they passed through the protective spell after giving her ticket to the wizard. she had never been to a quidditch world cup, her father saw no point in going for her or even thinking about it. he was selfish like that and didn't care for things like this. this was all new to her. this was going to be exciting, something by far better than hogwarts quidditch any day now. she curious about all the tents. there were a lot of them here. she couldn't believe how many there were that scattered the grounds of the place. she suddenly felt uneasy as she started to look around her, she noticed alex let go of her hand and fall to the ground, she was about to help him up and see what happened before she was face to face with the witch who had knocked him out. rowan's wand was out and at the ready as she looked at the woman. frankly she looked like one of those muggle sluts with the outfit she wore. "hey, sweetie. you're going to come with us now." rowan gave one look at the woman and shook her wand. "immobulus!" rowan snapped as she booked it through the crowds. she was faster than the woman could ever reach her and the spell would keep her locked in position until she found a way to undo the mobilized spell. rowan couldn't stay to help alex, there was no way she could get back to him without getting caught into the mix of things. what was going on? who was that woman and what did she mean, that she was going with them? who was them? what was going on? her figure was lighter, she noticed her bag was gone. she dropped it when she ran from alex and the woman. her sketches and everything were back with alex. everything that seemed important to her were lost now. she wasn't sure if they would destroy them or not, but there was no hope in going back for them. she ran in between the tents and came out of the protective spell that surrounded the quidditch world cup grounds. she couldn't stay back there any long. the night was becoming a nightmare. it wasn't how she planned as she made her way back to the square where she started her night out again. she looked around it to see if her dad had somehow came back, but nothing. no one was there now. the square was empty. she stuffed her wand back into the sleeve of her coat to keep from people staring if they saw it out and asked why she had a stick with her. she sat on the bench to catch her breath, not knowing how far or if those people knew where she went. she was freaking out, she needed something to drink. anything, frankly she could have gone and attacked a muggle for all she cared. she couldn't believe she left alex lying there on the ground out like a light bulb. why was he attacked? what did they want with her? what was so special about her? that she was half vampire? something so rare it was impossible she even existed? she couldn't think anymore as she rocked back and forth on the bench, freaking. she didn't know what to do now. go back for alex, or continue running. what else did she have? ---------------------------------------------------- STATUS, finished! Does it make you happy you're so strange And in your darkest hour, I hold secrets flame You can watch the world devoured in it's pain Regulus had kept quiet for a while now, the Death Eaters went out and did some mission. But for the most part he’d made sure that they didn’t kill anyone in a way that would track the death back to them. This made things pretty boring, but after his mother’s attack on Hogwarts many eyes were positioned on possible death Eaters. Some of them were Death Eaters, if they were captured because of a slip then their already small numbers would be affected even more. So he kept quiet, give some time. Everyday the Ministry became more involved with the muggles, Regulus was sure that if he allowed more time to go back most of their attention would be focused on that. Then the Death Eaters would be able to attack.
Until that day they still needed to work on growing their numbers. He had the Nott boy in Hogwarts, only a few had joined his ranks. Outside some of his Death eaters were also recruiting. It was on a small scale, only those trust worthy were informed. Anyone could turn to the Ministry and speak. At first he had been worried about Scorpius Malfoy speaking about the things he knew. But after Regulus was done with his father, Scorpius would be on their side once more. Regulus smiled at this, it didn’t matter how Scorpius felt about muggles right now. The moment he thought that muggles had attacked his dear father, Scorpius’ feeling would take a turn. Human emotions were so easy to manipulate. Scorpius wouldn’t be the only one affected, an attack on wizards by muggles would cause fear.
Wizards and magical creatures would need protection, some would turn to the Ministry. But some would rather turn to the known enemies of the muggles. Scorpius actually out loud then, two wizards ahead of them turned around to look at them. Regulus tried to look serious once more, but it was harder than he’d imagined. He truthfully wanted to laugh and how well his plans were working. It would had gone faster if his mother hadn’t attacked Hogwarts. But he’d worked around it, with her gone things were a lot easier for him. The wizards turned away, walking faster and disappearing. They both probably looked a bit mad, he wore simple muggle outfit. Tulah besides wasn’t the image of beauty, she wasn’t bad looking but she never bothered much with her appearance.
They continued to walk, waiting for Rowan. Regulus was sure that she would come tonight. His sources in the Ministry had given him all the information about Hunter’s daughter. An ex-Quidditch player like Rowan wouldn’t miss the final match of the Quidditch World Cup when it was so near. Regulus himself didn’t acre much for Quidditch, too much time was wasted in such an unimportant thing. But the setting was perfect. No one would be looking at them, too focused in the game. Even if she came with others, it would take them a while to even notice she was missing.
Tulah excitement was rubbing off, he couldn‘t wait for the actual fun to begin. “You can have her, you deserve it. Patience doesn‘t come easily to you Tulah, but you‘ve done great.” Plus Regulus would have Draco soon enough. That was something he could hardly wait for, Draco had become an annoyance to him. He’d wanted to discard of him quickly enough. When the plan had come together and they needed a wizard to attack, almost everyone had turned to the member most likely to turn on them. But also the one least likely to say anything out of fear for himself and his family. Things had come together then, killing two birds with a stone like the muggles so well put it.
Finally Tulah herself saw the girl. She wasn’t alone, but there was a boy with her. There wasn’t anyone else near by and Tulah was quick to dispose of him. He was actually proud of her for a moment. Then a bit angry that the moment of surprise was ruined. They could have stunned them both together. But it was too late the blond girl had run off, leaving her friend behind. Regulus turned to Tulah quickly, removing the spell that had been placed on her with ease. “Follow her and don’t loose her.” He turned back toward the boy, turning him with his foot. His eyes flickered a few times and he began to sit up, Regulus smiled slightly. Before he could see his face Regulus had snapped him square on the face. A bright red cut appeared bellow his eye, one that would unfortunately heal. That would knock him for half an hour or so. It would also make the little attack look like a simple fight.
Happy with his job, Regulus turned around ready to join Tulah in capturing Hunter’s daughter. He finally encountered her in a muggle square. Was she trying to blend into the muggles. Like that would save her, Regulus was more than happy to hurt a few muggles to get what he wanted. Regulus finally pulled his wand out, there was a larger flash of red light and muggles fell on the ground, stunned. Hopefully Tulah would be able to take care of the few others that reminded, that square wasn’t so busy and it wouldn‘t be difficult. “Now love, I have some very nice Demontor friends that would love to give you a kiss. So why don’t you come in nicely.”

MORE THAN WORDS YOU KEEP TO YOURSELF like a curse that fares thee well Tulah's eyes devoured Rowan's face, hungrily taking in every detail, committing every facet to memory. She smiled as she pointed her wand at the girl's heart, her hand steady and exacting as a surgeon, or perhaps more fittingly, an assassin. She felt the adrenaline wash over her when Rowan's eyes widened in terror and confusion, when reached for her own wand. But Tulah thought the protection spell too slowly and was placed under Immobulus, and with rising anger she felt her limbs and torso lock in place. If Tulah could have screamed in rage, she would have. As it was, the binding curse froze her with the sickly sweet smile on her lips, her wrist mid flick as she was about to cast Protego. The girl fled, cowardly, leaving the boy who had only moments before been holding her hand on the ground, no loyalties to him, her only instinct to save her own skin. Tulah would have giggled at how alike the two of them already were, and how the girl would have crawled out of her skin to know it. Regulus immediately unbound Tulah and gave her brief orders: “Follow her and don’t lose her.” Tulah barely gave him the chance to finish his sentence before her feet were pounding pavement, her lithe frame dancing easily through the crowds until the pressing population dispersed, and she could see the blond hair of the girl racing away from her up ahead. The square the girl tried to lose herself in was nearly empty now, the remaining stragglers hurrying off to this pub or that shop, leaving for home or milling about with friends. Tulah, without thought or concern for the Statute of Secrecy, whipped her wand about, stunning the Muggle, dropping that one, until Regulus had caught up with them and finished the bulk of the job with a single, powerful spell. Tulah almost marveled at him before she forced herself to remain on task... Namely, exacting revenge on the little twerp who paralyzed her. “Now love," Regulus said calmly to the girl, his voice warm, almost inviting, "I have some very nice Dementor friends that would love to give you a kiss. So why don’t you come in nicely?”Tulah, standing closer to Regulus than to Rowan at the moment, shrieked with laughter, She scrunched up her lips to make a kissy face at Rowan then laughed again, casually pushing her hair back out of her face again. "Oh, I dunno," Tulah turned for a moment to Regulus, a mocking smile on her lips, "can't be much of a soul to her to kiss out, wouldn't you say? Leaving her widdle boyfriend all alone? Daughter of a vampire? There's not much going for you, honey," Tulah frowned sadly at Rowan, her voice mocking, her head nodding as if in sympathy. But soon her features hardened and her body language turned much more hostile. "C'mon, Regulus," she said as she quickly pointed her wand at the girl again, the tip trained at her skull, "let's get the brat now. Thinks she can curse me and run, ain't she just a doll? Everte Statum!" Tulah had had enough chat: it was time to get what they came for. words: 651 outfit: here tagged: rowan, alex, reg credit: someone else's arms, mae
