[/i] Ron. The Ron whose face softens when he looks at his little girl, who shines with pride when watching his son. Whose seen him shead blood and tears, all for his family and friends. He jokes, sure, but when the time comes, he can be serious. He can focus and be helpful and be a very useful weapon. He argues much more than should be needed (especially with his wife), but when the times comes he follows his heart and does something nice and sweet to make up for things.

{Inside Your Head;;
Personality Description:
His hugely over protective, and has quite a jealous side, especially when Hermione is involved. His will basically doesn't exist when it comes to Rose (well...mostly), since she's his little girl. And his son Hugo, while annoying at times, and reckless, is the apple of Ron's eye. He always finds the boy hugely hilarious. So all in all, Ron has many sides to him, some good, some bad. He tries to be good mostly, just because Hermione keeps him in line.
Oh yeah, a temper? Psh, no of course he doesn't have a temper. What, are you guys fools?! He was a Gryffindor! Yes, he has a temper, a huge temper when you get him going. Just slip in the name Scorpius Malfoy, add in Rose Weasley, and you'll see that temper for yourself.[/ul]

History:
In 2005, Hermione gave birth to a beatiful baby girl, whom they named Rose. Sure, Ron already had nephews (he was James Sirius' godfather), but to have a baby of his own...blimey, it was scary. And she was so teeny, a little girl, and he she was his little girl. Ron barely had time to get over the shock before, two years later, he had a little baby boy. He witnessed both grow up, learned how to heal broken bones very well (Hugo was reckless), and essentially played the role of father. Rose was his baby girl, and so he was fiercely protective. And Hugo was his son, his boy, and he was fiercely proud. All in all, he went through what many do.
He tried to give his kids the best life possible. He made money, of course, and so his kids got new clothes, new toys, and almost never went second-hand. He just wanted to be a good father, to make them happy, to make sure that they never felt some of the worry about financial things that he himself had worried about as a kid. He dotted on the, spoiled them if you will, and tried to dispell equal attention. He didn't want either of his kids to feel left out, ever.
Rosie started off at Hogwarts, and Ron found himself in a mess of worry. He masked it well, so he wouldn't get the mickey taken out of him, but he was indeed a mess inside his own head. His little girl was off with boys, doing Merlin-know-what, and he couldn't be there to keep an eye on her. However, while he was still worried about Rosie, he did get to spend quality time with his boy. One special day stood out--when Hugo was ten and Ron took him to work. The look in his son's eyes...well, it was indescribable.
Hugo eventually went off to Hogwarts too. Of course, as he had hoped, both his children were Gryffindors. He had figured they would be, with their personalities. Things were going good for Rose--no boys, yet. But Hugo was a bit worrying--getting into fights all the time, getting the stuffing kicked out of him. Ron worried that his boy wasn't going to be so lucky everytime, and yet at the same time he found himself proud that Hugo was fighting for his family. Even so, he sent howlers and angry letters (Hermione wrote them though), and was glad when Hugo paused on the fighting drama. Which started back up not too much later, but Ron was quite happy to find that his son wasn't doing as bad, or at least it seemed that he was improving. Hermione would be horrified to hear Ron's thoughts, but he was happy that his son knew how to fight.
Ron found himself becoming especially good at masking worry when Bellatrix broke free from Azkaban and terror began to raise again. He began working harder than ever, wanting to protect his family, his kids especially. He wanted Bellatrix to die, he wanted her to be gone from this world. He didn't want to have to worry anymore, he wanted that peace that had felt so nice. So now that brings us to this year--still an auror, a husband and a wife, Ron Weasley is working more than ever still to take down Bellatrix. The woman who had been one of Voldemort's top DE's. Voldemort, whose name he still won't say.
Some things never really change. [/ul]

It was an odd thing for Rory to be quiet and nervous and edgy. It happened so rarely that everytime it did Al felt a stab of worry go through his heart. As he looked her in the eye, she looked back and then flinched and looked down again. Oh Merlin, this must be really serious...she wasn't even looking him in the eye. He was glad that he had caught this now, hoping that he could solve the problem early on so that she didn't have to suffer. Of course, how could he know that he was just making it worse for her?
After a long, pregnant pause, Rory began to speak, her voice mumbled so much that Al actually leaned his head down a bit to better hear her. With each word she said his eyes widened a bit more, and a bit more, and by the time she practically whispered her final word his face was one of total surprise. Still watching her and not saying nothing, he took in her worried and almost saddened face as she chewed on her lip. This was not good...no, he had to fix this right now.
"Oh..." he said softly, his arms uncrossing and going limp at his side. He continued to stare at her, for another moment or two before he looked down at the ground too. He took a few deep breaths, wondering how he should go about trying to make her better. Well...he'd start out with a friendly hug. Yes, that would be best. So he leaned down immediately, arms wrapping around her middle in a tight hug. After a few seconds of him squeezing her tightly, he let go and then stuck his hands into his pockets.
"Look, Rory..you don't need to worry about me," he said honestly. "I just want what makes you happy, you know that. So if you really like this bloke, and he's not...following Bellatrix or anything insane like that, then you don't have to worry about me liking him. I'm sure I will...and I can't promise that I won't be a bit protective. You're my best friend, so I'm sure some parts of me will want to pummel the guy if he is bad to you or something, but if you're happy...then I'm happy."
He took his right hand out of his pocket and flicked her nose gently. "And if he has a problem with our friendship...well then no offense, he's a bloody prat who really doesn't deserve you. Because we're just friend, the best of friends, and I'm not going to let some guy tell me that I have to back off being friendly to my friend....But I know you, and if you really like this guy, then he can't be all that bad or there would be now way you'd give him the time of day."
He took another deep breath, running his hand through his hair, ready to tackle her last worry. "And it's not going to become weird between us, not if I can help it," he continued. "I mean, we're best friends, and just that, so everything will be okay. I promise." He smiled at her warmly, tapping her chin to try and make her look up at him. "Okay?"
