Waking up to the rising sun was not all that common for Slytherins. So, naturally, Calista was a little alarmed when she felt the white light of the early morning sun beating down on her eyelids. Inhaling sharply, she sat up so fast that she gave herself a crick in her neck. She winced, gingerly rubbing the spot until it stopped stinging. Then she drew in her surroundings, warily.
The castle was a bit of a walk northward, but not terribly far. She was dangerously close to the mossy bank of the Black Lake, and her back was damp with dew from the thick grass. Pursing her lips in perplexity, she wondered vaguely how the dew could get on the grass if she had been snoozing on it all night? Dismissing this, the girl took to wiping stray blades of grass from her black pleated skirt and stiff white oxford. Then she ran a single hand through her tresses, slowly, as if she were afraid she would find a large spider buried in there or something. Mercifully not.
On her trek back to the castle, she wound up running into something. Wr, someone. Another student, at that. He had messy black hair, horn-rimmed glasses, and a Ravenclaw tie stuck to his damp neck. She smirked as he stirred, inclining her head and surveying him haughtily. Maybe he knew what on earth happened last night? He sat up almost at once, looking frazzled.
"Did you find the squid?" He asked frantically, looking around frantically.
Calista blinked collectively, then giggled impishly to herself. So that was what this whole sleepover at the lake was about? What a relief!
"Um, no," She responded coolly, her eyebrows raised. "But I'd like a recap,"
